  Long before he was my teacher, Yorick was teaching me. He is a person for whom no stone of life remains unturned: he always wants to cut past the stories we tell ourselves about the way things are, in order to let energy speak for itself.
Living this, Yorick manages to be humble, versatile and hilarious. He is one of the rare teachers who can pull the rug out from under all your previous concepts and support you wholly while doing so.
Like the teachers we find in parables and eastern anecdotes, Yorick manages to challenge his students as he challenges himself. He embodies the ultimate paradox: while leaving no steady ground to stand on in the world of judgments and words, Yorick skillfully and gently helps teach a massage sequence that allows our energy express itself most fully in the way it wants.
Participating in this work, I felt a great sense of aliveness, rootedness, and freedom. Through his receiving his teaching, formally and informally, i came to understand that in order for life to fully support your being, all you have to do is let go.

   Where you come away from other schools & teachers with massage tools, you come away from Feel First not only with tools, but with directions necessary on how best to utilize them. Yorick is offering an experience that is sadly lacking in most other schools. Offerings as simple as taking the experience and principles of meditation and applying it to your massage practice, to your everyday life...i feel are an invaluable part to the art of Thai massage and not to be overlooked...
